At IEEE VIS 2018, we’ll be hosting a tutorial Topological Data Analysis Made Easy with the Topology ToolKit. The tutorial is on Sunday from 2:20-6:00pm.

This tutorial brings together researchers and practitioners who are interested in the analysis of scientific data with the Topology ToolKit (TTK). The tutorial takes the user’s perspective, and we’ll be providing a pre-installed virtual machine for the audience to use. We’ll cover (1) an introduction to topological methods, (2) an overview of TTK’s features, (3) hands-on sessions using TTK in ParaView, (4) usage for developers, and (5) information for using TTK as an educational tool in the classroom.
